Basketball player Jeric Teng got a surprise visit from his biggest showbiz crush, "Maria Mercedes" star Jessy Mendiola.
McDonald's Philippines worked with Jeric's brother and fellow basketball player Jeron Teng in the surprise meet-up with Mendiola, who is one of the endorsers of the fast food chain.
"Hi, I'm Jeron and we're here in McDonald's, and I'm now waiting for my brother," says Jeron shortly before the meet-up, a video of which was uploaded by McDonald's Philippines on YouTube on Thursday.
The nearly two-minute clip has gone viral on YouTube, getting over 120,000 views as of writing.
"I just want to do something that I think my brother would really like," Jeron adds.
The meet-up was held at McDonald's branch at Eton Centris in Quezon City.
In the clip, Jeric is seen eating until he sees Mendiola, who is wearing a sexy red dress, walking towards him.
The "Maria Mercedes" star then asks Jeric if she can sit with him.
"May I?" she says.
Stunned, Jeric is unable to speak but has a huge smile on his face.
As they sit across each other, Mendiola keeps on staring at Jeric, which makes the latter feel self-conscious.
After a few minutes, Jeron steps in and breaks his cover, causing Mendiola to laugh.
Reacting to the YouTube video, several Internet users called Jeric "cute" because of his reaction after seeing his biggest showbiz crush.
Others, who seem to also have a crush on Mendiola, said Jeric is a "lucky man" for being able to sit with the "Maria Mercedes" star.
