Last September, Wally Bayola's alleged sex video with EB Babes dancer Yosh Rivera went viral on the Internet.


Since then, the comedian/co-host has kept mum on the issue and he has not been seen on noontime variety show Eat Bulaga since the sex video leaked online.


Months later, Vic Sotto says Wally (who is married with five kids) should apologize over the sex video scandal.


In the December 12 episode of Kris TV, host Kris Aquino asked if Vic can request for the return of Wally to the noontime show.


"Yeah, I can," admitted Vic who is part of the formidable comedy trio that has been hosting Eat Bulaga for 34 years.


"For me kasi, personally okay lang naman but he has to apologize.


"I think people will understand.


"Alam mo naman mapagpatawad ang Filipino."



WARM RECEPTION FROM PINOYS. Jose Manalo revealed that he was reunited with his comic partner Wally recently for a show in Olongapo.


"Contract niya kay Ma'am Malou [Choa-Fagar, his manager]. Kailangan umattend siya dun sa concert," he explained.


Jose recalled that they received a warm welcome from the people of Olongapo and they even received an award during the event.


He narrated, "Binigyan kami ng award tapos bigla si Wally nagsalita na, 'maraming salamat sa muli n'yong pagtanggap sa akin.'


"So nung sinabi 'yon, sinapo ko na siya, ako na yung nagsalita nang nagsalita sa kanya, humingi ng sorry sa tao na hindi naman kasalanan, tao lang.


"Maganda yung show, nagtayuan ang mga tao, nagpalakpakan.


"Sinisigaw ng mga tao na love nila kaming dalawa, love nila si Wally, ganoon yung nangyari. Tapos after nun ay hindi na muna siya mag-show, magpapahinga muna."[source]

The couple decided to forget what happened and wait until the controversial subsides. They are now facing another trial in life, because of the treatment of a certain cancer form in the eyes of their daughter.

An alleged sex video of comedian Walter James Bayola who co-hosts the TV noontime show Eat Bulaga circulated online after it was uploaded in the video sharing site YouTube.

The TV personality was apparently the person filmed having sex with one of the show's dancers.

The private video went viral early Tuesday with its links and screenshots being shared and trending in social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.

The circulation of video scandals remains rampant in the Philippines despite the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009. Under the law, any person is prohibited to “to take photo or video coverage of a person or group of persons performing sexual act or any similar activity,” or “to copy or reproduce, or to cause to be copied or reproduced, such photo or video or recording of sexual act or any similar activity,” and “to sell or distribute, or cause to be sold or distributed, such photo or video or recording…”

Those found guilty of committing any of said prohibited acts will be penalized with imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years and a fine of not less than P100,000 but not more than P500,000 or both, at the court’s discretion, the law said. (Ron B. Lopez)
